What happened to customer service? I’ve noticed a drastic change since the end of the Covid pandemic. I often wonder if the majority of the faithful, hard-working people died during the pandemic? Were they dedicated and stayed in the workforce and were casualties of Covid 19?
My daily experience in dealing with people in the customer service sector overall is pretty bad. I feel like what we’re dealing with every day are the leftovers. Leftovers? Yes, those who didn’t go to work, or did not want to work, but now have to work. Their attitudes emphatically say, “Look, I don’t want to be bothered and I don’t care about you at all.”
My experience with customer service speaks volumes, it says, “I’m just trying to get a paycheck without working or caring about my job performance. I truly do not care about you, the customer. I don’t care about good customer service. So leave me alone.” The attitude is rude and sometimes just downright mean.
Is this a Sign of the Times?
Societal and Moral Decline: The Apostle Paul expanded on societal conditions in 2 Timothy 3, noting that people would become “lovers of themselves, lovers of money,” boastful, ungrateful, and lacking self-control.
I’ve seen this societal condition become so prominent these days. It’s a bit frightening when you sit and think about it. The scripture however is simply being fulfilled in everyday life right before our eyes.
Is this a sign of the times? Absolutely. The future book, the Holy Bible, the Word of God tells us so.
So with every daily challenge whether it be social, financial, or health related be much encouraged my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus. “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13
Maintain your composure, sound mind and peace. You got this! We got this! Smile!
In Jesus name AMEN!
