Hello everyone! Anxiety is definitely a faith destroyer. Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. But what is anxiety?

The Science & Symptoms

  • Mental: Feelings of dread, panic, or constant anticipation of a negative event.
  • Physical: Increased heart rate, rapid breathing (hyperventilation), muscle tension, trembling, and fatigue. via Mayo Clinic

I am well aware of anxiety. I lived and tried to thrive with anxiety as my best friend. After so many bad happenings in life I began to live expecting the worst. Just waiting for the next bomb to drop. I tried to plan out everything to prevent anything from going wrong.

This is absolutely impossible. We as human beings simply do not have that type of control. The only one who has that power is Almighty God our creator. We are merely creations and have very limited power but a great resource. Our great resource is our Almighty God and His son Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

Praise God!

An intricate part of our salvation is based on faith. Faith in knowing and believing that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

We have faith and believe that Jesus Christ the Son of God was crucified on the cross and died and was resurrected by the Father on the 3rd day. Jesus Lives! Jesus took on the sins of the world on that cross for me and you. So that we might be reconciled to God. Why because our sins had separated us from a loving, righteous and holy God.

We know that He is God and that He is able to do all things. Whether we like the circumstances or not God’s will be done. He is always in full control. He knows what is best.

This does not mean that we as believers and followers of Jesus Christ will live a life free of suffering. What we do know according to God’s Holy Word is that He will give us strength to make it through anything! He is God! Jesus the Christ is our Prince of Peace. We need to simply trust, believe and rely on Him in our daily lives.

Let’s not give in to the stress of life, and the sinful temptations of life but stand on the truth of Gods Holy Word; knowing that all things work together for the good of those that love the Lord.

He is forever faithful!
