Hello everyone!
“Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” Hebrews 10: 23-25 KJV
This is a wonderful set of scriptures. I’m sure many think the last verse is about going to Church every Sunday and being a member of someone’s church organization and or congregation. That is not what is meant by this scripture at all.
This is one of the many scriptures over used by many religious organizations and leaders. In the New Testament they were counting souls not heads and bodies. To be a member of a church organization does not mean that your name is written in the Lambs Book of Life. So you have a body count but what about that soul and its relationship with Christ or our Lord and Savior. That body may help the membership numbers grow but what about the hope of eternal life?

Hebrews 10:25 is in reference to the fellowship of the saints. Believers are collectively looking to the future. As they do, they are to spur one another on to deeper love and positive actions and to continue to encourage one another and meet together. Reference: KJV Study Bible
Fellowship is something I love and enjoy. Gathering together with other saints. That gathering can be over a meal, coffee or just to chat. A small study group and so much more. We are to support one another in this daily journey to live for God and do His will.
“Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.” Acts 2:41-42 KJV
Isn’t this wonderful?! Then let us continue…
