Our seniors deserve a voice, and sometimes we must be that voice for them.

When someone you love lives in a nursing home or long-term care facility, you begin to see senior care from a different perspective.

You witness moments of kindness and compassion, but you may also encounter situations that leave you concerned, frustrated, or questioning whether your loved one is receiving the care and respect they deserve.

Through my personal experiences and educational articles, I hope to bring greater awareness to the challenges seniors and their families face.

My purpose is not to criticize every nursing facility or caregiver. There are dedicated, compassionate people who genuinely care about the residents they serve. But there are also concerns that deserve attention, conversations that need to happen, and voices that need to be heard.

I believe every senior deserves dignity, compassion, respect, and the opportunity to live their later years feeling safe, valued, and loved.

Our seniors deserve a voice, and sometimes we must be that voice for them.
